Awareness on Environmental Hazards of Electronic waste in Bhubaneswar city at a Glance Under the Digital India Initiative

School: The objective of school awareness programme -: • To raise awareness among the school children, teachers regarding environmentally sound e-waste management. • To aware about establish an e-waste collection and quantification system in school. • To aware about e-waste collection centre for safe handling and disposal of e-waste. 1. Mancheswar U.P.U.G School (24.04.2017) (145 students and school teachers were participated & 750 numbers of students were covered on this awareness programme) 2. Prasanti Vihar, Bhubaneswar (Centre for Child and Women Development) (CCWD (25.04.2017) 160 numbers of participants were participated and 800 students covered under this programme 3. IRC Village Government high school, Bhubaneswar (27.06.2017) All Total 350numbers of participants were actively participated and 1200 numbers of students were got aware in this drive 4. Capital high school, Bhubaneswar (28.06.2017) All Total 320numbers of participants were actively participated and 1150 numbers of school going children and teachers inspired through this programme 5. UNIT-1 Government High School, Bhubaneswar (29.06.2017) Total 380numbers of participants and 1100 numbers of students were actively participated in where Ashok Ku Gocchi, delivered the welcome address
